Contract type: Zero Hours (in accordance with the needs of the organisation and the individual staff member)

Hours of work: Up to 20 hours per week during term time (between Monday to Friday 9:00 – 16:30).

Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.71

Purpose of role:

The Student Voice team at Royal Holloway Students’ Union runs a wide range of activities—such as policy work, research, academic representation, and Collectives—supporting around 500 student leaders.

In recent years, their research and insight work has grown significantly, producing detailed reports on student experiences. These reports are used to engage the University and drive improvements through evidence-based recommendations.

The role involves helping deliver high-quality research into student experiences. It requires strong research, communication, and attention to detail, along with a commitment to equality and diversity. The working hours are flexible due to fluctuating workloads, so it suits someone adaptable.
